Ingredients
1 kg potatoes
Vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
6 eggs
0.5 teaspoon dried garlic
1/3 teaspoon turmeric
250 grams ham
250 grams pickled mushrooms
150 grams hard cheese
150 grams canned corn
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
100 grams cheese
Spring onions and dill for garnish
Preparation
First, peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the potatoes until they are half-cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, beat the 6 eggs.
Add dried garlic, turmeric, salt, and pepper to taste.
Add the half-cooked potatoes and eggs to the bowl and mix well.
Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
Pour the potato and egg mixture into an ovenproof dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
… Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
Meanwhile, prepare a salad with ham, mushrooms, hard cheese, sweetcorn, and mayonnaise.
Once the tortilla is done, remove it from the oven, spread the 100 grams of cheese on top, and return it to the oven until the cheese melts.
Serve hot and garnish with chopped scallions and dill.
