Cake
1 box white cake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
¼ cup water
1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1–1½ tbsp milk
Steps:
1 – Prepare the pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
2 – Mix the batter: In a bowl combine cake mix, cinnamon, sour cream, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
3 – Spread the batter: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
4 – Add the apples: Spoon the apple pie filling over the top of the batter, spreading it gently across the surface.
5 – Bake the cake: Bake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is set and lightly golden.
6 – Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl whisk powdered sugar with milk until smooth and pourable.
7 – Finish the cake: Once the cake has cooled slightly, drizzle the glaze over the top. Slice thick and serve.
