Ingredients:
– 24 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 3 large eggs, room temperature
– 1 cup brownie mix
– 1/4 cup melted butter
– 1/2 cup caramel sauce
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. We’re aiming for a silky texture here!
4. In a separate bowl, combine the brownie mix with melted butter until it’s nicely blended, then fold this delightful mixture into the cream cheese batter.
5. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt to elevate those flavors.
6. Pour half of the cheesecake batter into a greased springform pan and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it to add that dreamy touch.
7. Layer the remaining cheesecake batter on top and finish by drizzling the rest of that irresistible caramel sauce.
8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggly. You want a little wiggle!
9. Once baked, let your cheesecake cool before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Patience is key here!
