Ingredients (Ø 26 cm):
For the chocolate base:
- 4 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 120 ml sunflower oil
- 120 ml milk
- 180 g flour
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
For the strawberry filling: - 500 g fresh strawberries
- 1 packet red cake glaze
- 250 ml water
- 2 tbsp sugar
For the cream topping: - 600 ml whipping cream
- 250 g mascarpone
- 80 g icing sugar
- 2 packets cream stabilizer
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the decoration: - 200 g strawberries
- 50 g chocolate shavings or chocolate chips
Preparation:
1️⃣ Chocolate base Baking:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy.
Stir in oil and milk.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, then gently fold into the egg mixture.
Pour batter into a greased 26 cm (10-inch) springform pan.
Bake for approximately 25–30 minutes.
Let cool.
2️⃣ Prepare the strawberry layer:
Wash strawberries and slice them.
Distribute evenly over the chocolate base.
Prepare the glaze with water and sugar according to package directions.
Pour over the strawberries and let set.
3️⃣ Make the whipped cream:
Whip heavy cream with cream stabilizer until stiff peaks form.
Stir together mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Gently fold in the whipped cream.
4️⃣ Finish the cake:
Spread the whipped cream over the strawberry layer.
Smooth the surface.
Chill for at least 4 hours.
5️⃣ Decorate:
Decorate with halved strawberries and plenty of chocolate shavings.
Enjoy well chilled before serving.
